How you can help…
-
While Brush Turkeys can be a nuisance in gardens, designing outdoor spaces that are turkey-friendly can help minimize conflict. Use sturdy fencing around vegetable patches and consider using mulch and leaf litter to encourage natural foraging behavior.
-
Urban encroachment on their habitats has forced Brush Turkeys into closer quarters with humans. Supporting urban wildlife initiatives can help manage and conserve populations effectively.
-
Promoting educational programs on how to coexist peacefully with Brush Turkeys and other wildlife can reduce negative interactions and foster a more wildlife-friendly community.
