👋 Hello, we are Wildly Nice…
My partner (Chris) and I (Lucie) have always believed that the wildlife in Australia is something incredibly special. We wanted to use some of the skills that we’ve developed during our busy work lives to celebrate and help support their conservation. It felt like a calling.
It all started about eight years ago, during paternity leave with our daughter. Chris began hand-illustrating a collection of Australian birds (just when I needed his support most 🤣).
We felt more inspired than ever, but as life often does, it got super busy. Work called him back, and the project was tucked away…
😮💨 It’s hard enough just balancing work and family life - and sadly our passion project was almost forgotten…
Fast forward to 2024, while I was between roles, I stumbled upon those unfinished illustrations and knew we had to bring them to life. With renewed energy and some late nights, we were finally able to bring our project to life.
This moment is more than just a product launch; it’s the fulfilment of a long-held dream - and one that we hope to keep building on - if we can find the time!
🙏 This project is our way to support vital efforts to protect our native wildlife and restore natural habitats.
That’s why 10% of our profits go directly to BirdLife Australia, and other charities that align with our vision. We hope that our project helps raise awareness for the struggles that some of our native species face.
