About eight years ago, during paternity leave with our daughter, my incredibly talented partner, Chris George, embarked on a creative journey. Inspired by Australia's unique and beautiful birdlife, he began hand-illustrating a deck of playing cards that captured the essence of our feathered friends. But as life often does, it got busy. Work called him back, and the project was tucked away.

Fast forward to 2024, while I was between roles, I stumbled upon those unfinished illustrations and knew it was time to bring them to life. With renewed energy and a deep love for Australia's wildlife, we decided to dust off the project and share Chris's stunning artwork with the world. That dream has finally taken flight with the production of 1,000 beautifully crafted Birds of Australia playing card decks! 🐦🎉

This moment is more than just a product launch; it’s the fulfillment of a long-held dream and a celebration of Australia's incredible birds.
